ASUS web storage

Anyone know anything about it, for new purchases? Thought it was good for awhile...mines coming up at 60 day free trial?

Asus web storage is an online backup/storage service. It's a nice to have such a service but paying a fee after the trial period may not be for everyone. You could switch to the free basic service that offers 2GB of space and if you need more space, Adrive probably offers the largest capacity for free (50GB).

Why not use your email storage, I know hotmail gives you 5 gigs I think with their skydrive.

I thought is a free service offered by Asus for buyers; good to know it's only trial... I was preparing to do a backup with it, but not anymore now

yup, I thought it was a free service as well. And more so my understanding was that it was 500 gig of space with purchase....but its apparently only a 60 day trial...

For Asus netbooks, I believe it's free for a year.
